Well, more just sitting there and posing for us.

When I told my nephew to smile, and pointed at my smile, this is what I got…

Baptism? of a child. Although there wasn’t any water… Notice also the two competing pastors, who would talk over each other. There was definitely some drama there…

I gave my host sister a baseball cap from the Friestatt Farmers’ Exchange, in my great-aunt’s town in Missouri… also, her daughter was a whole 3 weeks old!

This is looking out from my bedroom window into the courtyard. There was a sunset like this every night.

On hearing we don’t have them in the US, my host dad (pictured) went and found me a chameleon…

She was absolutely gorgeous and so gentle and friendly… I loved taking pictures of her.
